Police and STF interrogated him for hours. He was produced in the court on Thursday evening. From where he was sent to 14 days judicial custody. During interrogation, he told the police that the city imam had strictly refused to use DJ in the procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi. In this anger, he threatened.

On Wednesday, a hand-written letter was found pasted on the wall opposite the main gate of Jama Masjid. In this, it was said to place bombs in the mosque on any Friday. Also, there was a threat to shoot the city Imam Mufti Khurshid Alam. After receiving the threatening letter, many people had gathered at Jama Masjid. SP City also reached the spot and did investigation.

In this case, the Qila police had taken into custody seven youths, including Naseem Ahmed’s son Samad, who lived near Jama Masjid at night on the basis of suspicion. During interrogation, Samad accepted the threat. He told the police that during the dispute at Jama Masjid, city Imam Mufti Khurshid Alam had strictly refused to play DJ in the procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi. This angered him. In this anger, he pasted a threatening letter. Along with the police, the STF also interrogated him. Inspector Qila Arun Kumar Srivastava told that the accused Samad has been sent to jail.

DJ was booked by giving 50 thousand rupees in advance
Samad told the police during interrogation that processions are taken out on Eid Milad-un-Nabi. One day a procession takes place in the old city and the next day in the new city. He had booked a DJ for the procession for Rs 1.5 lakh. 50 thousand rupees were also given in advance. When the city Imam refused to play DJ in the procession, he felt that he would be costing 50 thousand rupees. Because of this, the city began to be unhappy with the Imam.

dog squad searched the house
The ATS also questioned the accused Samad. After this, his house was searched by the dog squad, but no objectionable object was recovered from the house. In fact, Samad had threatened to blow up Jama Masjid with a bomb, so intelligence agencies suspected that he had hidden any explosive material in the house. So the house was searched with the help of dog squad. His contact with any organization was also investigated, but not confirmed. Samad is 8th pass. Apart from his parents, he is survived by two brothers and a sister.
