22 km long road
Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brigadier BD Mishra, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Rana Pratap Kalita named the 22-km-long road after General Bipin Rawat at a function on Saturday. This road connects Walong to Kibithu. Apart from General Rawat’s daughters Kritika and Tarini, many senior officers also participated in the program. At the same time, the name of Kibithu Military Camp was changed to General Bipin Rawat Military Garrison.

The accident happened on December 8
General Rawat died on December 8 last year in an accident near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. Apart from his wife Madhulika, 12 other army officers were killed in this accident.
