Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has taunted the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. He has said that if Congress has to start this journey, then it should start with Pakistan. He said, India is already connected and one. The Chief Minister of Assam said, India was partitioned in 1947. Therefore, there is no benefit of this journey in India.
He said, India was divided in 1947 during the time of Congress. If he has to travel between India, then Rahul Gandhi should start it from Pakistan. What does it mean to take this trip in India? India is already connected and one. My advice is that Rahul Gandhi should start this journey from Pakistan itself.
Word of mouth war started between BJP-Congress
A war of words has started between the BJP and the Congress over Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. The leaders of both the parties are leaving quivering words over each other’s party. In this sequence, Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai has taunted that Rahul Gandhi is famous for ‘Jodo India’ and not ‘Quit India’ journey. When Rahul Gandhi travels through the country through this journey, he will know how PM Modi changed the country in eight years and his eyes will be opened. What was then the Congress also retaliated and reminded of the role of RSS during the freedom movement. Congress MP Manickam Tagore said that BJP is rightly saying ‘Quit India Movement’ was led by Mahatma Gandhi in which Sanghis (RSS) never participated. At present, our Rahul Gandhi is going to start India Jodo Yatra from Wednesday.
