Six accused policemen in the Bikru case have been punished for doing jobs in the minimum pay scale. It consists of four constables and two constables. The departmental inquiry of the remaining six accused was going on. This investigation was being done by Additional Commissioner of Police Headquarters Anand Kulkarni. He completed his investigation and submitted the report to the government.

On the basis of the report, SI Azhar Ishrat, SI Kunwar Pal Singh, SI Vishwanath Mishra, SI Avnish Kumar Singh, constable Abhishek Kumar and Rajiv Kumar have been punished with minimum pay scale.

Minimum pay scale third biggest punishment
According to the Additional CP, the minimum pay scale means that all the increments or promotions that have been received will be nil. The concerned will have to do the job again on the first pay scale. This is the third largest punishment in the punishment of the police department.
