Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will fight and win the BMC elections together.
Senior BJP leader Fadnavis said that the BJP and the real Shiv Sena led by Shinde ji will fight the BMC elections together and win. This statement from Fadnavis has come when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to Mumbai. Earlier, Shah had said that this time Uddhav Thackeray has to show his place.
The Union Home Minister, who is considered Chanakya of BJP’s election strategy, reached Mumbai on Sunday. He had met prominent leaders of the state regarding the BMC elections. The decision to contest the BMC election with Shinde was taken after a meeting between Amit Shah and BJP leaders.
Earlier, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis had said that this time the BMC election means the last battle of ‘R or Par’. He said that in a way this fight is to remove Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena from power. On the other hand, Shah has given the slogan of Mission 135 for the BJP.
According to reports, Chief Minister Shinde has invited all his MLAs for dinner today. It is believed that Shinde is going to discuss the Dussehra rally and BMC elections in this meeting.
At a meeting of party functionaries on Monday during his two-day visit to Mumbai during the Ganpati festival, Shah said, “If you kill a person at any place, it hurts.” When you hit a man on his home ground, the pain gets worse. Now it is time to inflict deep wounds on Shiv Sena.
He had said, “I am asking you all. Unless the BJP can control Mumbai, you cannot win Maharashtra. The real Shiv Sena has joined us and now it is time to show Uddhav in his place.”
