Senior BJP leader Nishikant Dubey has targeted the Jharkhand government led by Hemant Soren. Giving a statement on Saturday, he said that there is a government of Alibaba and forty thieves in the state. Godda MP Nishikant Dubey said that “Hemant Soren is Alibaba and his supporters are 40 thieves”. He also said that if there is power in the government, then conduct mid-term polls.

Significantly, CM Hemant Soren is facing charges of disqualification for allegedly granting himself a mining lease. These speculations have led to a political crisis in the state. At the same time, Nishikant Dubey said that neither the Governor nor the Election Commission has sent a letter for Soren’s disqualification, but he is taking his MLAs in a swarm fearing to lose the chief minister’s post. He said that if Hemant Soren is honest then he should not be afraid of CBI or ED. Not only this, the BJP leader also challenged him for the mid-term elections during this period.

The BJP leader said that if someone is constantly talking about the fear of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) cases, then he is definitely a thief. Because an honest person need not be afraid of either of the two, but Hemant Soren is scared and is constantly taking his MLAs along. He said that our fight is for the people and we challenge Hemant Soren for the mid-term elections.

Nishikant Dubey said that regarding his disqualification, neither we have received any letter from the Governor nor from the Election Commission (EC). If he is accusing BJP, then I want to ask him what have we done? He accused the Soren government of Islamizing the incidents of lynching of Mahadalits in Palamu, burning of a girl in Dumka and giving holiday in some schools of the state on Friday instead of Sunday, saying that all these are your deeds.

Earlier on Friday, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel accused the BJP of adopting various tactics to remove MLAs of other parties and try to topple an elected government in the states. He had said that BJP cannot tolerate opposition parties, they (BJP) adopt various tactics and use their power and money to intimidate or buy into opposition leaders.
