Jharkhand Police has registered an FIR against nine people including Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey, his two sons, MP Manoj Tiwari, Director of Deoghar airport, for breaching the security of Deoghar airport. All of them are accused of forcibly entering the Air Traffic Control (ATC) room of Deoghar airport. An FIR was registered at Kunda police station on September 1 on a complaint by security in-charge Suman Anand, which stated that the said persons violated several security norms by forcibly entering the ATC room and pressurized the officers to take-off. In the complaint letter, it has also been accused of forcibly taking ATC clearance by pressurizing everyone.

Let us inform that Manoj Tiwari, Kapil Mishra and Nishikant Dubey had reached Deoghar in a chartered plane to meet the family members in the Dumka student murder case. The flight was allowed from the airport till 6 pm, but the MP has been accused of forcibly taking clearance at 5.30 pm. It was only after this incident that the officer lodged a complaint citing the security of the airport.

Case registered under these sections
Nine people, including both the MPs – Nishikant Dubey and Manoj Tiwari – and the airport director have been charged under IPC sections 336 (act endangering the life or personal safety of others), 447 (punishment for criminal trespass), 448 (home- Punishment for trespassing) has been registered. Kunda police station in-charge Praveen Kumar has given information about this.
