Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on a two-day visit, held a review meeting of development works at Gorakhnath temple on Thursday evening. During this, the Chief Minister also took information from the police officials about the preparations for Durga Puja.
He asked to keep security arrangements tight and remain alert during festivals. Also instructed that Durga idols should not be installed on the road. For this, after talking with the committees, they should be prepared not to install the idol on the road. Said that the common man should not face any kind of problem in the traffic.
The Chief Minister said that dialogue should be held with the people to create mutual harmony. Tight security arrangements should be made. The Chief Minister also asked to make preparations for idol immersion. Directed the commissioner to get the immersion route inspected and wherever the road is found to be defective, it should be repaired immediately. Loose electrical wires should be fixed and the ponds and the area around the immersion site should be cleaned. Get it cleaned.
