The newly married woman, who reached her in-laws’ house after taking seven rounds in Milak of Rampur, died under suspicious circumstances. The family members have alleged dowry death. The police have registered a report against three including the husband. The incident took place in Gahluiya village of the area.
The marriage of Ravi Gangwar, a resident of Gahluiya village, took place on Thursday at around four in the evening with Rajeshwari, a resident of Pajawa Gadaiya of the area, in the ancient Shiva temple complex located in Rathounda. After marriage everyone went to their respective homes. As soon as the new bride reached her in-laws’ house, her health suddenly deteriorated and she died.
Rajeshwari’s death was informed by husband Ravi Gangwar to the relatives of the deceased. The relatives of the deceased informed the police about the incident and started creating ruckus accusing Ravi and his family of killing Rajeshwari. Police brought Rajeshwari’s body and Ravi Gangwar and his father to the police station.
On the complaint of the family members, the police sent the body to the district hospital for post-mortem. On the basis of Tahrir, the police of Milak Kotwali has registered a report against three including the husband.
According to the police, Rajeshwari seemed to be Ravi’s sister in the relationship. There was a love affair between the two. The relatives were against the marriage of both. When the family came to know about Rajeshwari’s pregnancy, the marriage of both of them was done in Rathonda temple on Thursday with the consent of both the families.
