The death of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry in a road accident has raised many questions about insurance policy claims in accident cases. However, insurance companies say that people buy insurance to protect against risk. Therefore, in case of accidental death due to human error or any other reason, the policyholder will definitely get the benefit of insurance.
The industry says that even in case of human error or violation of rules, the full benefit of the insurance policy will continue to be accepted and claims of accidental death will continue to be accepted. However, in exceptional cases the amount of compensation can be reduced.

Claim cannot be rejected on the basis of seat belt
