The Pramod Sawant government of Goa has taken major action in the murder case of BJP leader and Tiktok star Sonali Phogat. The Pramod Sawant government has decided to demolish the Curlies restaurant. This is the same restaurant where Sonali Phogat was forcibly given drugs. Curly’s restaurant is in the news after Sonali Phogat’s death. This restaurant was sealed after it came under investigation in the case of Sonali Phogat’s death. Now it will be dropped. The Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority has said that the Curlies restaurant will be demolished in violation of the norms of the National Green Authority.
Along with this, the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority has ordered the closure of all commercial establishments such as nightclubs, bars and restaurants run by Edwin Nunes and Lynette Nunes.
It is worth mentioning that Sonali Phogat was taken by her PA Sudhir Sangwan and her partner Sukhwinder before death at Curlies restaurant located in Anjuna area of Goa. In this restaurant, both of them forcibly gave drugs to Sonali. After which he died. The post-mortem report did not reveal the exact cause of death. After the information came to light, Goa Police arrested both of them by registering a case of murder against their PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder. Let us inform that his death was confirmed on 23 August. The restaurant operator was also arrested in this case.
Referring to the Curleys restaurant in Anjuna yesterday i.e. on Wednesday in the Sonali Phogat death case, Sawant had said that the authorities have sealed the restaurant premises. Police have so far arrested five persons in connection with Phogat’s death, including two of his associates Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh, who accompanied him on a trip to Goa. Apart from this, there are two suspected drug peddlers and the owner of Curlies restaurant.
