Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed the state executive meeting on Saturday. He said that the united opposition he is working on will defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. We will confine the BJP to only 50 seats in 2024. After the state executive, now there will be a meeting of the national executive.
According to a party release, the chief minister termed the JD(U)’s defeat in the 2020 assembly elections as a conspiracy by the BJP and also blamed the old ally for the fall in seats. He recalled that when he had expressed his reluctance to become CM again due to less seats. The release also said that the results of the assembly elections sowed the seeds of distrust and the crisis of confidence intensified when former JD(U) president RCP Singh, in connivance with the BJP, hatched a conspiracy against the party.
Nitish Kumar said that if all the opposition parties fight together, the BJP will be reduced to around 50 seats. I am dedicating myself to that campaign. Nitish Kumar will reach Delhi on Monday on a three-day tour as part of his political efforts. The veteran leader, who has been an ally of the BJP for nearly three decades, also warned his party workers. He said that the BJP would try to disturb the social and communal harmony in the state. We have to thwart their plans by keeping a watch at the level of Panchayats.
