Britain’s ruling Conservative Party, after a two-month-long process, today i.e. on Monday, in the lower house of parliament – the House of Commons, has decided its leader and the country’s next prime minister. In this race for the post of PM, only two faces were left till the end – former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and current Foreign Minister Liz Truss.

Declaring the leader of the Conservative Party’s electoral committee, Liz Truss was his first choice. She will be the next prime minister of Britain. He defeated Rishi Sunak in the race for the post of PM. Truss will be the fourth PM of this country in six years. Earlier, David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson have held the post of PM in different intervals from 2016 to 2022.
