Madhya Pradesh government is going to give another gift to the devout elders. In Madhya Pradesh, a plan is being made to offer pilgrimage to the elderly by airplane. MP is going to become the first state to do so. The government is going to provide this facility to the elderly in the new year. If everything goes according to plan, the first flight will leave on January 1, 2023.
Religious Trust and Endowment Minister Usha Thakur said that Madhya Pradesh would be the first state in the country to offer pilgrimage to the elderly by flight. He informed that the journey will be started for direct access such as Rameshwaram, Tirupati Balaji, Vaishnodevi. Thakur said that more pilgrimage centers would be included in this. He said that soon a complete outline is being prepared by the department. After this the registration process will be started for the passengers. He told that in the journey, he takes 1 thousand people at a time. The plane will carry 500-500 passengers in two halves.
Thakur said that on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from September 17, 5 new trains of pilgrimage will be run. In which about 5 thousand senior citizens will be provided pilgrimage. Apart from this, 5 new trains will also be run on the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh on 1 November. The minister said that the four dhams of Adiguru Shankaracharya had been established so that the devotees of Sanatan Hindu religion could visit the four dhams and attain virtue.
Under the Teerth Darshan scheme, five new trains will be run from September 17 to September 22. This includes trains from Bhind to Ayodhya, Varanasi, Kashi, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow), Indore to Rameswaram, Rewa to Tirupati, Burhanpur to Vaishno Devi and Balaghat to Dwarka Somnath. Bhind, Gwalior and Datia in train going to Ayodhya, Varanasi (Kashi), Indore, Dewas and Ujjain in train going to Rameshwaram, Rewa, Satna and Jabalpur in train going to Tirupati, Burhanpur, Khandwa and Harda in train going to Vaishno Devi and Pilgrims from Balaghat, Chhindwara and Betul will be able to join the Dwarka Somnath train.
