Vision of G-20: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020) is helpful in promoting opportunities for early learning. He said that the new National Education Policy is guiding India to achieve the shared vision of G20 countries. Pradhan was addressing a gathering on the topic of Recovery, Re-imagine and Rebuild Strong at the G20 Education Ministers’ Meeting in Bali.
The new National Education Policy, based on the fundamental principles of access, equity, quality, affordability and accountability, is India’s guide to promoting lifelong learning opportunities and achieving the shared vision of the G20 Education Working Group, the Union Minister said on Thursday. . Pradhan said that India is laying special emphasis on formalizing early childhood care and early education, supporting children with disabilities, promoting digital and multi-modal learning, flexible entry-exit routes, integrating education with skills which has become a means of improving learning outcomes.
