Sarvjaat Sarvkhap Mahapanchayat has been convened at Jat Dharamshala in Hisar on September 11 to demand a CBI inquiry into the Sonali Phogat murder case. The future strategy will be announced in the meeting. Sonali Phogat’s family members have sought cooperation from the Khaps in this regard.

The officials of Dhaka Khap had demanded a CBI probe into the Sonali Phogat murder case. Apart from this, many other Khaps including Phogat Khap, Poonia Khap had announced their support. Even after 14 days of Sonali’s murder by many Khaps, Goa Police has not been able to make a big disclosure in this case. The family has been demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter since the beginning. Earlier on August 31, the representatives of Khap under the leadership of Dhaka Khap State President Dinesh reached Sonali Phogat’s farm house.

The Khap representatives expressed their protest during the investigation by the Goa Police. Dinesh Dhaka said that we are not satisfied with the investigation of Goa Police. Time is being wasted in the name of investigation. The representatives of the Khap raised slogans of Goa Police Murdabad, CBI probe.

If the CBI inquiry is not conducted, we will agitate. Will take support of all Khaps if needed. Surendra Dhaka, Dilel, Vinod Dhaka, Dilbagh Dhaka, Surendra Dhaka, Dharampal Dhaka, Sandeep Dhaka of Rohtak were present on this occasion.

Demand to provide gunman to Yashodhara

Sonali Phogat’s brother Watan Dhaka called the family life in danger. He said that those who can kill Sonali can do anything. He said that apart from Yashodhara, other family members have also given statements to the police. In such a situation, there can be danger for everyone. A gunman should be provided for Yashodhara.

Sonali’s brother Watan Dhaka said that we have sought cooperation from the Khaps. The hash tag on Yashodhara’s tweet did not succeed. Yashodhara had made her Twitter account on Monday evening and tweeted for the CBI investigation into the death of her mother Sonali Phogat.
