Already, inputs have been received for the activation of PFI in other areas including Saraimer of Azamgarh. Information about the members of the organization is being collected in nearby districts including Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Chandauli. According to an official associated with the security agency, instructions have been received to take special vigilance in Varanasi, the Gyanvapi episode is the main reason.

Five years ago there was a meeting of PFI in Chittanpura
The roots of PFI have spread to nearby districts including Varanasi. In the year 2017, the local unit of PFI was preparing to hold a meeting in Chittanpura of Adampur, a Muslim dominated area. The police immediately gathered information regarding the organizers and informed the authorities. A report regarding the entire matter was prepared and sent to the government.

According to police sources, since then PFI was engaged in the work of adding new people in the adjoining areas including Adampur, Jaitpura, Saraiya, Pilikothi, Badi Bazar, Baheliya Tola, Suga Gadhahi, Bajardiha, Madanpura Rewari Talab and Dalmandi.

The NIA and ATS teams interrogated three suspected PFI activists who were picked up from Adampur and Jaitpura in Varanasi for more than 20 hours. All three were released late in the night. During this, the team searched their mobile call details and information about their acquaintances.

After being satisfied, all three were released. Late night there was also a threat in Lallapura of Team Sigra. However, no one was picked up from here. The NIA team gathered information about the relatives along with taking their names, addresses and mobile numbers from the three family members.

In view of the Friday prayers amid the action being taken on PFI, the police took extra vigilance. Police patrolled sensitive areas. ADCP Prabal Pratap Singh did a route march in Saraiya, Puranapul, Konia, Jaitpura, Adampur, Pathanitola, Pilikothi of Varuna Zone. On the other hand, in Kashi zone also, police remained alert in Bhelupur, Bajardiha, Madanpura and Godaulia. In the court too, surveillance was increased by the security in-charge.
