The Indian stock market did not like the first day of the month of September. The market broke up to 850 points on the expiry day of futures trading. The market appeared to lose its previous trading day’s gains sharply. At present, the Sensex is trading at 58,792 points with a weakness of 744 points. On the other hand, Nifty is at 17548 points with a weakness of 210 points.

Earlier, the Sensex fell 826 points and opened at 58,710 points. On the other hand, Nifty opened at the level of 17507 with a loss of 244 points. In the early trading session of Thursday, weakness is seen due to selling in the shares of banking, financial services, IT, realty, FMCG sector. 25 out of 30 Sensex stocks are down. Bharti Airtel is the top gainer.
