Monsoon weather continues to prevail in the capital. The whole of August has also been dry due to non-active Western Disturbance. However, weather experts claim that there is a possibility of some changes in the weather from Sunday. Light rain is expected for three days. After that the temperature will rise again.
According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, the maximum and minimum temperature was 37.1 above normal and one 27 degree Celsius above normal. The humidity level in the air was recorded at 48 to 86 per cent. It was sunny all day, but the heat was mild. At the same time, the highest temperature of 39 degree Celsius was recorded in Najafgarh area.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that with partly cloudy sky in the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 38 and the minimum temperature is 27 degree Celsius. Monsoon trough will move towards North India. There is a possibility of rain in the next few days from Jammu to East Uttar Pradesh.
In this episode, the weather of Delhi-NCR may take a turn from Sunday and light rain may be recorded at some places.
