World Population To Reach 8 Billion On Today

Today i.e. on 15th November the population of the world will be eight billion. The United Nations report claims that there could be 850 crore people on the earth by 2030, 970 crores by 2050 and 1040 crores by 2100. It was also told that the average age of human beings has also been 72.8 years today, it has increased by nine years till 2019 as compared to 1990. By 2050, a human will live for an average of 77.2 years. On the other hand, women live an average of 5.4 years longer than men. Their average age has been estimated at 73.4 years and that of males at 68.4 years.

According to the United Nations report, it is a milestone in human development. Improvement in public health, nutrition, sanitation and medicine is believed to be the main reason behind this phenomenal growth.

Slowest growth rate since 1950

According to the report of the Institute of Health Metrics Evaluation, after 78 years, the TFR in India will be at 1.29, which is much lower than the UN estimate of 1.69. India’s population may decrease by 433 million in the year 2100 from the estimated estimate.

Most migrants came out of Pakistan
During 2010 to 2021, 1.65 crore Pakistanis have left their country and migrated to other countries. After this, 35 lakh people from India, 29 lakh from Bangladesh, 16 lakh from Nepal and 10 lakh from Sri Lanka went to other countries.
